The last five years has been the warmest ever recorded. Our planet has a fever caused by us.
The POW Bike is painted with the ‘warming stripes’ as a visual representation of the change in temperature on earth over the last 100 years. They are, as the scientists, very clear on where we are headed. But this race is not lost, there is still hope!
As a mountain biker I use my love for nature as a driving force to help protecting it. I think more people feel the same way but we all need good examples and reminders. Maybe Protect Our Winters and this project can serve as inspiration and a starting point for you.
Let’s not wait until wildfire or storms takes our trails away from us until we act.
